Sydney-based choreographer and filmmaker Sue Healey partners with artists from Hong Kong, Japan and Australia to present The ON VIEW series – a cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural production combining live dance performances, film installations and exhibitions.
The work invites a deep level of engagement with the dynamics of “seeing” and “being seen”, and how the body is influenced by the culture it is surrounded by. “ON VIEW: Panorama” seamlessly combines dance and film to interrogate ideas about portraiture and identity, revealing how the presence of the body in performance leaves its indelible mark.
