Irite Anna/Katori Naoto

Irite Anna
Choreographer and dancer. Studied classic ballet from an early age. Graduated from the Literature Department at Oberlin University. Studied contemporary dance under Kisanuki Kuniko. She has appeared in many dance and theater stage performances with a focus on solo activities and has choreographed music videos and other collaborations with musicians. The 1st Solodansa Festival 2014, Grand Prize winner.
Katori Naoto
Won the Dance Summit in Japan 2013 Grand Prix. Dance Creation Award 2014 First Place. He received the Touchpoint Art Foundation Award and the Sibiu International Theatre Festival Award at the Yokohama Dance Collection EX2015. As an actor, he has also appeared in “Six Characters Looking for The Author” directed by Nagatsuka Keishi, and Kobayashi Akira’s “Patariro!”. He is the head of the Scientific Dance Company <Chemical3>. Member of the dance company <Condors>.

Omori Yoko

Omori Yoko

Born in 1996. With a background in classical ballet since childhood, she is currently active mainly in contemporary dance and hip-hop. She won the Outstanding New Artist Prize and the Touchpoint Art Foundation Award at the Yokohama Dance Collection 2019. She performed the group piece “ERROR” at DANCE×Scrum!!! 2020.

Winner of 2015 Dance Hana, Encouragement Prize, “I Want to See Dance 2016!” Newcomer Series 14, audience award, 2017 NEXTREAM21, Top Prize, SICF18 PLAY, Kurisu Yoshie Award. In 2018, she released the solo performance “Seigi no Jiyu-ron (Freedom of Justice)”, and the solo performance “Hotsure (Fray)” in 2019. Participated in Roppongi Art Night the same year, and in 2021, the solo performance “Tengoku to Jigoku (Heaven and Hell).”

Kuri Akane

Kuri Akane

She started classical ballet at the age of six. Studied contemporary dance and choreography at the Japan Women’s College of Physical Education, majoring in dance studies. She dances under choreographers such as Suzuki Yukio, Yamazaki Kota, Kasai Mitsutake, Suzuki Ryu, Ito Kaori, Fukudome Mari, Kakizaki Mariko and Ella Rothschild. She is currently studying dance in Israel and is focusing on her own creative activities.

She studied classical ballet and Japanese dance from an early age, spending most of her adolescent years wearing tabi and toe shoes. She started creating her own pieces while studying theater at university. Presides over <Suichu Megane ∞ (Underwater glasses)>.

The company started in 2011 with the goal of “searching for and cultivating the whereabouts and ideals of dance in human society.” Currently comprised of choreographers, dancers, production staff, visual designers, etc.

Presides over <Umishitagi (Ocean Underwear)>. Participated as a scholarship student in the first term of “Domestic Dance Study Abroad @ Kobe”. Advisor to the Dance Club at Kamagasaki University of the Arts.
Her range of activities is broad, choreographing dances for characters, directing theater tours for children, and appearing in plays.
<Umishitagi>
This is the “band edition” of Umishitagi. We asked, “who wants to make a band!?” and whoever raised their hand became a performer for this piece.

She encountered dance during her first year of junior high school. Her experience in school education also influences how she creates her works.
With the release of human emotions, sensations, and contained desires, she creates choreography with delicate and expressive movements.
Completed Y-GSC at Yokohama National University. Lecturer of physical expression (health and physical education) at a vocational school.
Received the Yokohama Dance Collection EX2015 Outstanding New Artist Prize, was invited to the Shanghai Contemporary Dance Exhibition, etc..

Cares about bodily alienation in urbanity.
His recent works use space and objects to deconstruct movements, and propose philosophical questions in contemporary.

He has joined <Beijing LDTX modern dance company>, <Guangdong Modern Dance company>, and was invited as guest dancer of <Expressions Dance Company>.
