Under the direction of Véronique Caye, Line and Focus, the previous Franco-Japanese collaborative works, were striking successes. Now Caye returns to depict an intense, beautiful world of love, a fresh visualization using movement, video, music, and words.

Véronique Caye

Véronique Caye

Theatre director and playwright. Véronique Caye organized the group Le Laboratoire Victor Vérité which is consist of artists of various fields in 1998.
After directing various performances and the first joint Franco-Japanese Project “Line” (based upon a novel of Ryu Murakami), the second joint Franco-Japanese Project ”Focus” (based upon the life of Robert Capa).
Véronique Caye continues her research is on the adaptation of contemporary literature to theatre. She tries to give a visual form to the text by using visual and sound effects. She obtained several grants (« Villa Médicis hors les murs/ AFAA»in Japan (French Ministry of foreign affairs), Beaumarchais Foundation, DMDTS French Ministry of Culture).

Pierre Mignard

Actor.
He studied at the French National School of dramatic art (Conservatoire National d’Art Dramatique).
He performs in several plays in different national theaters and festivals in France and Europe He also performs for cinema.

He performed for the first joint Franco-Japanese Project “Line”

 

YASUMOTO Masako

YASUMOTO Masako

Born in 1974 in Tokyo; year of the tiger, Pisces, blood group O.Older sister, niece and nephew, yellow. Choreographed works include “Yonakiyubyu”, “Buttamondasutte”, “Nahanahacyo”.
. She also choreographs theatrical performances, concerts, and music videos sometimes.
She won the National Consultative Committee Prize in the 2004 Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis Yokohama Platform.
